How do I open the gate directly west of the spear trap?
1 of 7: Did you notice the hidden buttons?
2 of 7: Standing behind the spear trap and facing the gate, you will find two hidden buttons, one each on the walls to your left and right. Look closely -- they are difficult to spot.
3 of 7: Pressing both buttons will open the gate...
4 of 7: ...but only for a short period of time. If you are very fast and take a direct route, you may be able to slip through the gate before it closes again.
5 of 7: The most direct route is to cross over the trap in front of you and through the gate. First you must disarm the trap.
6 of 7: Notice the pressure plate which serves as a trigger for the spear trap.
7 of 7: Placing an item on the pressure plate will disarm the trap. Now press the two buttons, then dash through the gate.
