What does Grue want for his birthday?
1 of 9: Well, Grue doesn't want to come out and tell you exactly what he wants, because that would ruin the surprise. Perhaps you should ask his friends for suggestions.
2 of 9: Grue tells you that he left his friends behind in the goblin's mines.
3 of 9: You can find one of Grue's friends in the mines outside of the Goblin City on level 3.
4 of 9: You won't be allowed inside the mines until you've spoken with King Lunshire in the castle.
5 of 9: Show Lunshire's letter to the troll guarding the mines, and he will allow you to pass. You can find Grue's friend Burwaka in a small cave.
6 of 9: After speaking with Burwaka, you'll learn that Grue has never seen the world outside of Arx. Burwaka suggests that Grue might like to see some pictures of the world outside.
7 of 9: Try looking for a book of pictures.
8 of 9: You can find it in a library.
9 of 9: Speak with Chinkashh the Snake-Woman in the Castle Library, and she will give you a book of pictures. If you take this book to Grue, he will present you with a Troll Amulet, which identifies you as a friend of the trolls and will prevent the trolls from attacking you later on.
