Arx Fatalis Hints
Alchemy Supplies
Water lilies are abundant in watery areas. Try looking around the rivers in the City of Arx, the Guard's Fortress, and the Goblin City. Also do some hunting near the underground lake on Level 4. Water lilies become much more scarce on the lower levels, where water is not as plentiful, so it may be a good idea to save some for later.
Ferns thrive in dank, dark areas. They can often be found growing in spider lairs, particularly on Level 2 in the crystal caves and Grue's cave; the troll camp on Level 3; and areas of Levels 4 through 6.
Morning glories are scarcer than the above reagents. They are often kept in vases by the residents of Arx to decorate their homes. Search the dwellings in the City of Arx and the Rebel Camp. Additionally, you can harvest morning glories from Grue's cave on Level 2.
Medicinal herbs are rarer yet, and seem to be scattered somewhat randomly throughout the uninhabited caves. You are probably better off buying poison antidotes than trying to collect enough herbs to brew them yourself.
Rarest of all are snowdrop flowers. As you may have deduced from their name, these flowers grow almost exclusively in colder climates. Hunt for them inside the Ice Caves on Level 2.
