How do I forge the Ultimate Weapon?
1 of 9: Since the dwarves seem to have evacuated their mines, you will have to forge the weapon yourself. Try consulting the instruction manual you found on the corpse outside the smelting room.
2 of 9: Forging the weapon requires the use of two machines in the foundry.
3 of 9: You'll need to use a Stone of Power to turn on each of the machines.
4 of 9: According to the manual, you must first melt your ore into an ingot. The ingot machine is the one at the far side of the foundry, adjacent to the workbench.
5 of 9: Following the directions in the manual, place two chunks of mithril into the oven with the koltk powder, then pull the lever to make the ingot.
6 of 9: Now you must cast the weapon using a mold.
7 of 9: You can find a mold for a saber in one of the four small rooms in this area. A two-hander mold can be found in the smelting room.
8 of 9: After powering up the machine with a Stone of Power, place the mold on the left-hand side of the machine (do this by double-clicking and using the mold on the forge). Then climb the stairs, place your ingot in the oven, and pull the lever to forge the sword.
9 of 9: If you forgot to add the koltk powder when making the ingot, you'll need to use the powder on the finished sword before you can enchant it.
