What must I do to avenge the ghost's death?

  • 1 of 10: The ghost has told you the story of her murder, describing the killer as a one-eyed man. Have you met anyone who matches that description?
  • 2 of 10: You probably met this guy relatively early in the game.
  • 3 of 10: In the tavern on Level 1, you will find a one-eyed man named Enoill. Ask Enoill about the murder.
  • 4 of 10: Enoill doesn't admit to anything, but immediately after the conversation, he begins yelling for the barmaid to bring more beer.
  • 5 of 10: Perhaps you should buy the fellow a drink to get on his good side.
  • 6 of 10: Purchase a beer from Tizzy, then carry it upstairs and plunk it down on Enoill's table. If you're lucky, this will cause him to get up for a bathroom break, leaving a key on his stool. Alternatively, you can pickpocket or kill him for it.
  • 7 of 10: The key unlocks Enoill's house in the City of Arx. You can find the house by going down the stairs leading to the guardhouse and turning left, then right past the blacksmith. Enoill's house is the next door on your left.
  • 8 of 10: Enter Enoill's house and use his key to unlock the chest. Read the papers inside to find proof of his crime, as well as the name of the person who put him up to it.
  • 9 of 10: Confront Carlo and hand him the notes from Enoill's house. He will give you a letter explaining everything. You now have enough evidence to take the matter to the authorities.
  • 10 of 10: Give Carlo's letter to King Lunshire to complete the quest. Note that your decision to fulfill the ghost's quest will have an effect on a cut-scene toward the end of the game.
