Arx Fatalis Hints

I hear a woman calling for help. How can I open the door to her room?

  • 1 of 6: The key to this door can be found in the Maze of Lost Souls.
  • 2 of 6: Remember the spike trap in the maze which you disarmed by shooting an arrow at a button on the far side? The key is in that room.
  • 3 of 6: Take a look at the map of the Maze below. The key is located at "F". You may need to pull the lever at "E" to open the gate to this room.
  • 4 of 6: Make sure to bring a pickaxe along. You'll need it.
  • 5 of 6: Use the pickaxe to pry open the grave inside this room containing the key, then use the key to unlock the door near the crying woman.
  • 6 of 6: Inside, you'll find a lever which opens the gate opposite the door to this room.
