How can I break the mithril into smaller pieces?
1 of 4: The chunk of mithril you've found is much too bulky to fit into your inventory, let alone be carried up the ladder and back to the smelting room. Certainly the dwarves who work these mines must have found a solution to this problem.
2 of 4: In the corner of the cavern you'll find two machines, one labeled "Incoming" and the other labeled "The Way Out".
3 of 4: Turn on the machine using a Stone of Power, then place the mithril in the machine on your left and pull the lever to transport it to the smelting room.
4 of 4: Use the giant masher in the smelting room to break the mithril into more manageable pieces.
