Airline Tycoon: First Class Hints

The Final Frontier

  • Mission: Build up your own rocket.

Walkthrough: The task is to buy all the parts of a rocket to win. The parts cost a lot of money to buy, and they are located in a shop above the museum. There are ten parts you need to build a rocket -- below is a list of them and their prices. The first three must be bought before any other parts can be bought.

    Base Platform     200 000
    Starting Ramp     400 000
    Control Tower     600 000
                   ---------
    TOTAL          1 200 000

    Frame           5 000 000
    Wing            8 000 000
    Capsule        10 000 000
    Tail Unit      20 000 000
    Navigation     25 000 000
       Rockets
    Impulse        50 000 000
       Rockets
    Cockpit & Main 85 000 000
       Computer
                  ----------
    TOTAL        203 000 000

    COMPLETE
        TOTAL    204 200 000

(I think all the calculations are correct)

This is a very difficult and long mission. It takes ages to get over $200 million to buy your rocket parts.

When you start out, buy the base and nothing else. Once you make your first million, buy the other two parts. Save about $10 million to buy two old airplanes, but they may not last the whole game. Refrain from sabotage until they sabotage you first. Use the stinkbombs and glue to annoy your competitors and to make their planes lose money.

Once you get a steady profit (which takes a lot of management), start buying the parts. Once you have bought everything apart from the cockpit and computer or whatever you have left last, take out a maximum loan to buy the last part and you will win without paying back the money.
