What do all of the disks represent?
  • 1 of 5: The five people mention the following words: Wood, Fire, Metal and Water.
  • 2 of 5: The dictionary states there are only four true elements: Air, Water, Fire and Earth. There must be another "element" since you need five, not four.
  • 3 of 5: The fifth element, per the riddle, must be Wood.
  • 4 of 5: Substitute Air everywhere Metal is mentioned, since Air "creates water but is later consumed by fire."
  • 5 of 5: Below is a description of each disk and its meaning, as far as I was able to determine.
