What do the Jaguar examples mean?

  • 2 of 13: There are two examples on this level.
  • 3 of 13: The first example explains the basics of dots and dashes.
  • 4 of 13: On another wall, find the second clue.
  • 5 of 13: This shows you ~where~ to place the rods and marbles in relation to each other to form the desired number.
  • 6 of 13: Each dot represents 1 and each dash represents the number 5.  And they all appear in the very bottom block.
  • 7 of 13: There are 19 men shown underneath the first column.  The number 19 is represented by 4 dots above 3 dashes, all contained in the bottom block. Therefore, any number from 1 through 19 goes in the very bottom block.
  • 8 of 13: The second and third columns, remember, build upon the first column.
  • 9 of 13: There is a single dot shown in the next upper block with 20 men shown.
  • 10 of 13: Therefore, a single dot placed in the second block equals 20.
  • 11 of 13: The next column shows a single dot in the 2nd block and a single dot in the bottom block.  How many men are below it?
  • 12 of 13: The last column represents the number 21.
  • 13 of 13: You should have enough information now to solve the puzzle.
