Atlantis 3: The New World (Beyond Atlantis II) Hints
How can I solve the triangle puzzle?
1 of 4: Look at the very bottom row of triangles, underneath the puzzle. Those are drawers, which will open if the proper combination is used on the upper blocks.
2 of 4: The triangles all point in different directions. There are four of each direction. Clicking on one will raise or lower another like it. (If you want to know exactly how the drawers work, the following question will tell you. You don't need to know, but I've provided the information in case you're curious and want to solve the puzzle yourself.)
3 of 4: One of each direction looks a little different than its 3 partners. It has a slightly molded edge. To solve the puzzle and open the drawers, the four molded edge blocks should be the only ones that remain raised. Listen for a "click" when the drawers unlock.
4 of 4: While simple trial and error may work for you, the puzzle can be solved in as few as four moves. There are many solutions, but here are two that use only four moves.
(These solutions work only if you use them as soon as you approach the puzzle. If these solutions don't work, you will either have to restore a saved game from a point before you touched the board or read the question telling you how the drawers work in general and figure out your own solution from where you are now.)
