Atlantis 3: The New World (Beyond Atlantis II) Hints
of 11: The portal is inactive at the moment. Solving the puzzle on the floor in front of the portal activates it. Once you've solved it, you will walk into the portal automatically.
of 11: At first glance, the puzzle appears to require 6 pieces, since all of the individual spots, including the large circle, can be actioned. But that's not the case. You only need one.
of 11: Use a gyroscope (also called a spinning top) to complete this entire puzzle. Click it on any of the active spots and see what happens.
of 11: Your little gyroscope will move from each of the top icons down into the large circle, following predetermined, invisible lines. Watch its movements to see if you can tell what shape is being drawn.
of 11: It will draw the lines of a 5-point star one at a time, ending each point with a tiny star. But, it also erases a previously drawn star if it touches it on a new path. The portal will activate only when all five little stars stay lit.
of 11: This puzzle can be solved in only one way. Click your spinning top on each of the upper icons in the correct order. Feet, hands, and a face are depicted by the icons. These tell you at what point the tiny star will appear when the gyro finishes traveling. You'll need to use trial and error to figure out the path that the gyro takes to that final point, however.
of 11: To start, pick the one that travels to the most points. Then, work backwards ending with the one that travels the least.
of 11: Begin with the right foot, which sits in the spot that's 4th from the left.
of 11: End with the head, which sits in the 2nd spot from the left.
of 11: Numbering the icons 1 through 5 from left to right, click the top in this order: 4 (right foot), 1 (left hand), 3 (right hand), 5 (left foot) and 2 (head) . You can also look at the graphical version of the solution below. (Note: If the icons are arranged differently in your game, use the parts of the body as your guide.)
