Atlantis Evolution Hints
How do I play (and win) the game?
1 of 11: In this game, you will be represented by the flying ship on the left side. The left mouse button fires bullets, and the right mouse button drops bombs.
2 of 11: The goal is to travel safely across to the right side until you reach the "boss" at the end of each level, then destroy the boss (God?) at the end.
3 of 11: If your ship becomes damaged, the blue-ish crystals along the way can be picked up to repair some of the damage done to your ship. (Damage is indicated by a change of color in the large crystal in the top left of the screen.)
4 of 11: You can either avoid the spears, or destroy the spear throwers along the way. Either way, you will need to keep moving -- up, down, left, and right to keep away from the flying spears.
5 of 11: It is easiest to destroy the spear-throwers by dropping bombs on them.
6 of 11: The screen slowly scrolls by itself, moving you forward. The mountains and hills won't hurt you, unless you are directly behind one when it scrolls off the screen.
7 of 11: Watch out -- every so often, the screen increases its scrolling speed. If you need to dip down quickly to pick up a blue crystal, use caution if it forces you to drop down behind a tall mountain.
8 of 11: When you reach the "boss" at the end of the level, fire bullets at him.
9 of 11: The first priority, especially when you reach the boss at the end, is to protect your ship.
10 of 11: When at a boss, hide from his ammunition by going down towards the bottom portion of the screen.
11 of 11: Lift up, whenever the screen is relatively safe, shoot a few bullets then go back down again. Be patient -- you will destroy him eventually.
