Atlantis Evolution Hints
How do I win the game on the green screen?
of 12: Start the game by using the helmet on the screen. The goal of this game is to move each of the crates onto a green dot. To begin a level again, after an unsuccessful attempt, click on the "reset" button at the top left of the screen.
of 12: Each level will end only when all the crates are on a dot.
of 12: Use the arrow keys on the keyboard -- or click on the arrow keys on the lower right of the screen -- to move the small man. When the man is near a crate, and you tell him to move towards the crate, he will automatically push the crate in the direction you tell him to move.
of 12: You can only move one crate at a time.
of 12: You can push the crates, but not pull them.
of 12: If a crate is pushed into a corner, it cannot be moved out again -- since it cannot be pulled, and the little man in the game cannot get behind the crate to push it out.
of 12: If a crate is pushed against a wall, it can be moved from side to side along the wall, as long as there is space for the little man to get next to the crate to push it.
of 12: If two crates are both against the wall, and they are touching each other, it will not be possible to move either crate. The wall will prevent movement from two directions, and each crate will prevent movement for the other crate in the other two directions.
of 12: A crate cannot be pulled away from the wall, but can be pushed out again if there is a gap in the wall in which the little man can stand, so that he can push the crate away from the wall again.
of 12: Some strategy may be required to determine which crate to move, since there will be times that moving the wrong crate will prevent another crate from moving.
of 12: Strategy will also be required to determine the best way to move a crate, since the maze-like screens may prevent specific movement in some areas of the maze.
of 12: Crates standing on green dots do not become "locked" onto the dot. They can still be moved in the same way as they could before they were over the dot. At times, you may have to move a crate that is already positioned over a green dot. (These solutions all start from the beginning of a level, and you will need to hit the reset button if you're in the middle of the level to use them.)
