Aura: Fate of the Ages Hints
How do I place the tuning forks around the green plate?
of 8: First of all, check the color of the handle of your tuning forks to be sure that the color of the handle matches the color around the plate.
of 8: The placement pattern from the pipes under the green mirror (from left to right) is: 4, 2, 3, 1 (longest pipe, second shortest, second longest, shortest).
of 8: The tuning-fork tones should be entered the same around the plate: 4, 2, 3, 1 (lowest note [4], second highest [2], second lowest [3], highest [1]).
of 8: Making note of the placement of the narrow and wide pattern around the circumference of the plate, we can see that the tuning fork that is already placed (on the right of plate) is the second shortest note (2).
of 8: The three tuning forks remaining to be placed are the fourth (lowest), third (second lowest), and first (highest) tones. By hitting the three tuning forks on the T-shaped bar in the middle of the table, it is possible to tell which of the green forks has a higher tone, lower tone, and lowest tone.
of 8: Referring back to our order of placement, we know that the fourth-tone tuning fork (the one with the lowest tone) should be placed at the top of the plate (this is the fork that you originally picked up from the separate area, further away from the green plate).
of 8: The third-tone tuning fork (the one with the slightly lower, but not lowest tone) should be placed at the bottom of the plate (this is the fork that you originally picked up from just in front of the green plate -- on the right side of the two forks).
of 8: The final tuning fork is the one with the highest tone (the one you originally picked up from just in front of the green plate -- on the left side of the two forks). It should be placed on the left side of the green plate.
