Aura: Fate of the Ages Hints
What am I supposed to do in the upstairs room with the symbols?
of 9: You need more information before this puzzle can be solved. You may wish to save the game before starting this puzzle.
of 9: When you talk to Armagast, the hint for this puzzle will be added to your journal.
of 9: Each column has three sides; each side contains three icons. Nine icons in all, on each of the columns. The diagram in the journal has nine sets of symbols -- three in each set.
of 9: Once you've stepped into the room, turn towards the column just to the right of the door. Turn the top of the column by clicking on it. Make note of the symbols at the top of the column and compare these to the symbols in your journal.
of 9: You should find that the symbols at the top of this column match the symbols at the top right of the page in the journal -- around the outer edge of that section.
of 9: The symbols that should be showing at the top of the first column will look a bit like a post with four half-circles at the bottom (on the left side), and a radiation symbol (on the right side). If you haven't yet moved this piece, you won't need to. When you entered the room, it was already correctly set.
of 9: For all the columns of symbols in this room, match the left side of the symbols on the column with the left-most column of symbols pictured in the journal.
of 9: Using that as a guide to get you started, enter the symbols into the columns, one by one until all the columns match the symbols from the journal.
