What do I do at the tree stump and the cave?

  • 1 of 13: You won't be able to do anything at the tree stump and the cave until you are told to go there.
  • 2 of 13: Listen to the young woman, she will give you some clues as to what to do there.
  • 3 of 13: The original reference to the Grain of Life talked about the tree stump -- and its roots.
  • 4 of 13: When you are in the cave, and look up, what you are looking at is the roots of the tree.
  • 5 of 13: There must be something up there, amongst the roots -- but you can't get to it...
  • 6 of 13: ...at least not from down here.
  • 7 of 13: Exit the cave, and go up the path to the tree stump.
  • 8 of 13: You cannot interact with the tree stump directly.
  • 9 of 13: But perhaps there is something nearby that could help.
  • 10 of 13: Click on the branches of the young tree near the stump.
  • 11 of 13: The cut-scene that follows shows you what happens in the roots of the tree.
  • 12 of 13: The Grain of Life ripens in the roots of the tree, and falls to the ground of the cave.
  • 13 of 13: Return to the cave and retrieve the Grain of Life.  It is on the ground, just to the left of the table.
