What can I learn from the elevator-like panel?
1 of 7: Make sure that you try each of the four buttons -- in any order. You should note that the four buttons result in four different "readings" on the indicator.
2 of 7: The half-circle arrow-indicator is very similar to an elevator indicator.
3 of 7: For an elevator indicator, the arrow would point to the correct "floor" or "level".
4 of 7: But since there isn't an elevator around here, the indicator must be here to teach us something about the symbols.
5 of 7: The four symbols on the buttons represent the numbers 1 through 4.
6 of 7: And basically, that's the total purpose of this mechanism -- to let you know that the symbols represent 1, 2, 3, and 4.
7 of 7: The far-left symbol (barbells) represents one, the square represents two, the triangle represents three, and the star represents four.
