Aura: Fate of the Ages Hints
How do I operate the control panel at the end of the walkway?
of 19: You won't be able to figure out what to do without some help.
of 19: Have you talked to the man in the cabin where you first landed the airship?
of 19: Even if you've already talked with him, make sure you talk to him AFTER you've looked at the control panel.
of 19: He will point you to a clue behind the door of the cabin.
of 19: You will need to close the door, while standing inside the cabin, and look at the back of the door. (The door cannot be closed until after the man tells you to.)
of 19: Once you've looked at the back of the door, some notes will automatically be entered into your journal. Once you have the notes, you can return to the control panel and refer to the journal for clues.
of 19: The most difficult part of this puzzle is figuring out how to enter the solution into the control panel. To begin with, familiarize yourself with the panel. Besides the four dials there is one other, less obvious, control. There is a handle at the bottom of the control panel.
of 19: The handle can only be used when the dials are set in a specific way. (The diagram in your journal won't help you figure this one out.)
of 19: Have you tried to set all the dials so that the lights are all the same color (try a color other than gold)?
of 19: Once all the lights are the same color, push in the handle at the bottom of the control panel.
of 19: This will prepare the panel for an additional sequence of entries...
of 19: ...as shown in the journal.
of 19: Remember, the man at the cabin said to "input them from the bottom".
of 19: Break the line down into four different pieces and enter each one individually into the control panel -- starting at the bottom of the symbol.
of 19: Notice that each of the dials has a line across it. The angle of the line on each dial will represent the angle of the line on the symbols entered into the journal.
of 19: If, for example, all the lights on the panel were red, then you would look up the red symbol in your journal and enter the symbol, one line at a time, into the machine. In this example, the first line to enter in the control panel is a horizontal line.
of 19: Once a complete symbol has been entered into the control panel, there is only one thing left to do.
of 19: If the symbol is correctly entered, the complete symbol will show up on a large button of the control panel. The red solution appears in the left button, the blue solution in the center button, and the green solution in the right button.
of 19: Press the large button that corresponds with where you wish to go (the left button turns the bridge to the left of where you began Dragast (where your ship is still parked); the right button turns the bridge to the walkway at the right of your ship, and the one at the top center turns the bridge back towards your ship.)
