Aura: Fate of the Ages Hints
How do I solve the puzzle with the glyphs on the rooftop?
of 14: Once you have found them, return them to him, and the completed puzzle will contain a hint to this rooftop puzzle. In addition, the diagram will be written into your journal for future reference.
of 14: The puzzle is kind of a "totem pole", where each section can be turned independently of the others. Note that you cannot see (or interact with) all 5 sections in the same "view". You will need to alternate between a high "view" and a low "view" to see all 5 sections.
of 14: And, it turns out, you need to line up the 5 sections so that they display the 5 glyphs from the solved jigsaw puzzle -- whose picture is in your journal...
of 14: ...except that the 5 sections are NOT to be lined up at the front of the column.
of 14: They are to be aligned vertically -- at the BACK of the pole.
of 14: Since you can't rotate the pieces from the back, it could be quite a mess to run around the back every time you make a change.
of 14: If only you could see the back of the pole from the front!
of 14: You could do it if you could find a mirror to place at the back of the pole.
of 14: Walk around to the back side of the pole, and place the mirror (from your inventory) on the ground, in the small open area to the right of the pole.
of 14: Turn each section (from the front of the pole) so that the image that you see in the mirror matches the image from the jigsaw puzzle (and the diagram in your journal). When set correctly, you will see a short cut-scene.
