Inside: What do I do with the three dials on the walls upstairs?

  • 1 of 10: You'll need to investigate further outside to obtain the necessary clues.
  • 2 of 10: In particular, you'll need to visit the bell-shaped structure.
  • 3 of 10: Once you have obtained six symbols -- three pairs -- from the structure, study the dials on the wall to see if you can figure out how the six symbols could be related to the dials.
  • 4 of 10: Looking in the journal again might help.
  • 5 of 10: The second page of the journal has the clues needed.  Notice, in particular, that the arrow pictured in the journal is pointing between the bottom of the dial and the symbol on the post. 
  • 6 of 10: Study all three dials to see if you can find what is different between them -- specifically something towards the bottom.
  • 7 of 10: The bottom of each dial has a gear.  Look carefully at the teeth of each gear.
  • 8 of 10: The shape of the teeth (of the gear) matches the shape of the three symbols on the pillars (at the bell-shaped structure).
  • 9 of 10: For each dial, match the shape on the gear to the shape on the pillar.  Enter the matching image -- which you saw displayed in the air (at the bell-shaped structure) -- onto the dial.  The matching image should be positioned at the bottom of the dial.
  • 10 of 10: When all three images are entered correctly, a dome-shaped object will lower down, and stop just over the machine.
