Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Hints
How can I get into the kitchen?
of 15: NOTE: The kitchen (labeled "kuche") is in the upstairs area, near the garden. You can't get to the kitchen door without being caught until you finish your Early Institute Explorations.
of 15: Click on the kitchen door to get Holmes to suggest making some smoke so the woman in there will think the place is on fire.
of 15: Since you don't want to start a real fire, go to the laboratory in the cell area and see if you can find a way to create chemical smoke.
of 15: If you click on the interactive canister that's on the floor next to the unconscious nurse, you'll learn that it contains potash, which is good for creating smoke.
of 15: Use your empty meal dish on the potash canister to take some.
of 15: Holmes mentions measuring a precise dose of it, so how could you do that?
of 15: If you look on the worktables in the lab, you'll see a usable scale on one of them.
of 15: Use the meal dish with potash in it on the scales in order to get it measured properly.
of 15: To get your smoking device finished, you'll need to add a couple more ingredients.
of 15: One of them is chlorine. You'll find several bottles of it on the shelves in the unconscious nurse's area.
of 15: When you take the chlorine, Holmes says that the ratio of chlorine to water must be precise, so water is the other thing you need.
