How can I get past the crocodiles?

  • 1 of 11: There are several spots in the swamp that are blocked by crocodiles.
  • 2 of 11: The only one you can get past is at the "jellyfish" tree. See the "Where am I supposed to go in this swamp?" hints for directions on getting there.
  • 3 of 11: As for clearing out the crocs, you do have an elephant gun.
  • 4 of 11: However, you'd run out of ammo before you could shoot all the crocs.
  • 5 of 11: Besides, they aren't interactive, anyway. Look around for something that is.
  • 6 of 11: Row up close to the tree.
  • 7 of 11: Once you're as close to the right side of the tree as you can get, you'll get a hand cursor on the rope that one of the bodies is hanging from.
  • 8 of 11: Remember what Holmes said about feeding the crocs to distract them.
  • 9 of 11: What if you shot the rope, allowing the body to drop into the swamp for the crocs to eat?
  • 10 of 11: Select the elephant gun in inventory to turn the hand cursor into targeting crosshairs.
  • 11 of 11: Fire the gun to drop the body, thereby luring the crocs away from the left passage, which is the way you need to go.
