How can I get down this hole safely?
1 of 8: It's pretty obvious that you need some rope to climb down on.
2 of 8: There are three places where you can find some.
3 of 8: One place is the destroyed shack that's a bit left of the big ram's head rock.
4 of 8: The rope is on the "floor" of the shack ruins.
5 of 8: The other places are out next to the wrecked ships, and up on a rocky ledge on the other side of the area, but you might as well just get the shack's rope -- it'll be enough.
6 of 8: Return to the newly uncovered hole and look for a spot to secure your rope.
7 of 8: Notice that another nearby rock is now interactive.
8 of 8: Use the rope on it to get Holmes down into a cave area.
