How can I get across the big crevice in the cave tunnel?

  • 1 of 11: Move as close to the crevice as you can and look around for interactive items.
  • 2 of 11: Over on the left is a high-up rock that you can click on to get a comment from Holmes.
  • 3 of 11: He wants to move the rock to block up the crevice, but he can't reach the rock to pry it.
  • 4 of 11: This implies that you'll need a gun or some type of explosive to dislodge the rock.
  • 5 of 11: The main item you'll need is some explosive powder.
  • 6 of 11: The powder keg is far too heavy to move, so you'll need to find something to put some powder into.
  • 7 of 11: Use the empty flask on the powder keg to get yourself a good portion of explosive powder.
  • 8 of 11: However, if you're going to use your powder flask as a makeshift bomb to knock the rock loose, you'll need some sort of fuse and a way to light it.
  • 9 of 11: Use the rags on the powder flask to complete the bomb, then return to the area with the big crevice.
  • 10 of 11: Approach the crevice after lighting you torch, and use your homemade bomb on the interactive rock.
  • 11 of 11: That'll knock several rocks loose, creating a path across the crevice.
