How can I get up to where I can reach the barrel?
1 of 7: If you look down, you'll notice that there's now a hand cursor near the bottom of the rocky ledge, too.
2 of 7: You apparently need to find a ladder and use it on that hotspot in order to place it.
3 of 7: Any wooden ladder probably would have rotted into unusability by now, so look for something made of metal.
4 of 7: Go past where the skeleton was hanging to find a small dead-end cave room where the pirates had their still.
5 of 7: Look to the left of its entrance to find a piece of gating that you can take.
6 of 7: Its metal structure might be usable as a ladder, so go try it out.
7 of 7: When you use it on the rocky ledge's lower hotspot, it'll get set up as a ladder for you.
