How can I get rid of all the evil green smoke?

  • 1 of 11: Move into the smoke to get Holmes to call for a bucket and some water.
  • 2 of 11: There's none to be had inside the lighthouse, so look outside. (See link below if you don't know how to get outside.)
  • 3 of 11: From the lighthouse steps, go straight forward until you reach a destroyed building. (This is probably where you got your rope before.)
  • 4 of 11: Look just to the left of the ruins to find a large empty bucket you can take.
  • 5 of 11: Look just to the right of the ruins to find a barrel full of fresh water.
  • 6 of 11: Use the bucket on the barrel to fill it, then return to the lighthouse.
  • 7 of 11: Go up to the nearest smoke device on the floor (it'll look a bit like an empty bucket itself) and use your bucket of water on it.
  • 8 of 11: After Ashmat starts up a gunfight with Watson, you need to go around and dump water on all the other smoker gadgets.
  • 9 of 11: By carefully maneuvering among the wrecked furniture, you can reach and extinguish all of the smokers except the one closest to Ashmat.
  • 10 of 11: Before you can get to that one, you'll have to get rid of Ashmat.
  • 11 of 11: After Ashmat leaves, there shouldn't be any more smoker gadgets still working. If there are, go use your bucket of water on them.
