Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Hints
What's the answer to the quiz question that Holmes asks me?
of 12: You get this quiz question when you, as Watson, return to Holmes' apartment and talk to him after doing his two errands.
of 12: Holmes asks you what part of London one of the two kidnappers came from.
of 12: As with all quiz questions, use the keyboard to type in a response, then click on the large checkmark button (or press the ENTER key) to see if you're right.
of 12: If you don't know the answer, right-click to bring up your portfolio. You can then look through the various dialogues, documents, and reports to find the answer.
of 12: Notice that a lot of reports and two of the newspaper's articles have to do with water, fish, etc.
of 12: Remember where it was you found that fish scale.
of 12: It apparently stuck to one of the kidnappers until it fell off next to those footprints you found near the wall behind shed.
of 12: However, the fish scale was identified as coming from a saltwater fish, and the fiber sample found on the top of that wall had traces of fresh water, not saltwater, on it.
of 12: If you check any atlas' map of England, you'll see that the Thames River runs well into London, and its east end connects to the ocean.
of 12: So maybe this guy works on a barge on the Thames, ferrying saltwater fish from a fishery on the east coast to various spots in London.
of 12: Typing in THAMES for an answer will work, as will DOCKS or WHARF.
