Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Hints
SPOILER: Exact solution from starting configuration.
1 of 10: In this solution, I mentally number the rows from 1 (top row) down to 5 (bottom row). That means all of the number pieces start out on row 3.
2 of 10: Start by moving the 10 piece to row 2.
3 of 10: Then move the 3 piece to row 5.
4 of 10: Move the 9 piece to row 2, so that it's next to the 10 piece.
5 of 10: Move the 7 and 6 pieces to row 4.
6 of 10: Move the 2 piece to the top row.
7 of 10: Move the 5 and 4 pieces down to row 4.
8 of 10: Now you can move the 8 piece up to row 2, leaving only the 1 piece in row 3.
9 of 10: Now you can start putting the number line together on row 3 in the correct order.
10 of 10: I won't give a step-by-step list of moves for this, since anyone who can count to 10 can do it.
