Getting around...
The life of a cockroach is very down-to-earth. You must crawl over a lot of things during this game. One very effective way to go is to follow along the edge of the regions you can crawl over, tracing the boundary. When you know the edges, you may have to go back into the center to check it out as well.
Most lethal things will have a warning fringe zone, which will just sound scratchy when you get to close. Some things aren't lethal, but still make a bad sounding noise as you touch them, though. Most of these are impenetrable. Keep your eyes peeled for any unusual textures, or gaps in the the non-passible fencing.
Watch for other cockroaches. If you see one scampering off in some direction, the chances are good that you will want to check out where they are going, too. Sometimes, where they are coming from is worth looking at as well. Seeing another cockroach getting killed is an excellent way to pick out those danger areas!
If you find a picture, or other object of interest, touch it to see if it will reveal some information about its past. These clues will help you to figure out the complete story.
Be always on the look-out for a special shape, a sort of a cross between a cat's paw print and an eyeball. Touch the center of these shapes whenever you find them, to reveal some more animated information. These are your best clue sources.
