Baldur's Gate Hints

Part 1: Karoug

  • 1 of 12: Once you have the sea charts, you will sail to an island.
  • 2 of 12: When you reach the island, you are told by various people to go see someone named Kaishas.
  • 3 of 12: She is in a building at (3266,1264).
  • 4 of 12: She will give you the task to go north and kill an evil beast named Karoug.
  • 5 of 12: Exit to the northern area of the island.
  • 6 of 12: Karoug is in an old ship to the far north.
  • 7 of 12: The ship is at (3654,1074).
  • 8 of 12: There are four decks.
  • 9 of 12: He is on the fourth deck.
  • 10 of 12: This is a big fight, so rest up for it.
  • 11 of 12: Once you have killed him, check the desk beyond for Baldur's log book. (But watch out for a trap in front of the desk!)
  • 12 of 12: Return to Kaishas to learn the horrible truth about the island people.
