Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle Hints
Is there a map of this place I can use?
of 9: Yes, there is.
of 9: Go to the game's menu and click on "Load" or "Save."
of 9: The clipboard's background is a map of the entire game area.
of 9: There are other copies of that map in the game, but the save/load background is the most convenient since you can get it at any time.
of 9: Also, there's a BMP file with an enlarged version of the same map in the game's install directory (Program Files\Barrow Hill).
of 9: If you use a program like Windows Paint to shrink it down to 35% or so of its original size, it'll fit on a single 8.5"X11" piece of paper when printed.
of 9: None of those maps are labeled, but a bit of exploration will reveal that the car breakdown site is at the SW corner of the map, and the service station area is the large one with all the buildings at the approximate center of the map.
of 9: Also note that whenever you save a game, its name will be the name of the area you're in.
of 9: You could print out a shrunken-down version of the BMP map mentioned above and then label areas as you discover them. That might help you navigate around until you're familiar with everything.
