Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle Hints
Lantern
1 of 19: You'll find this at the service station.
2 of 19: In the cafe.
3 of 19: Find the door to the cafe's dark kitchen area and go through it.
4 of 19: Look to the right for a big yellow lantern that you can click on for a close-up.
5 of 19: However, you can't take the lantern yet.
6 of 19: Notice what happens when you click the Use cursor on the lantern.
7 of 19: It changes the view to focus in on the lantern's dish-shaped front end.
8 of 19: How might you light such a lantern?
9 of 19: Before you can even try, you'll need to get some Matches somewhere else. (The box near the lantern is empty.)
10 of 19: Get the view of the lantern's front dish and notice the nozzle in the center of it.
11 of 19: That's where you need to use a match to light the lantern, but the game won't let you yet. (You can tell because you don't get a Use Inventory Item cursor when you point at the nozzle. Also, clicking on the matches in inventory does nothing.)
12 of 19: Perhaps the fuel isn't available to the nozzle yet.
13 of 19: There's a small turnable lever on top of the lantern that you can click the Use cursor on.
14 of 19: Do that, then click on the matches in inventory.
15 of 19: That'll bring up an enlarged view of the open match box.
16 of 19: Click on the matches to take one, then click it on the side of the box to light it.
17 of 19: Then click the burning match on the lantern's nozzle to get it lit.
18 of 19: Now you can click on the lantern to pick it up.
19 of 19: Whenever you enter a dark area that gives you a Use Inventory Item cursor, click on the lantern in inventory to turn it on. It'll be turned off automatically when you enter an area that doesn't require it.
