Barrow Hill: Curse of the Ancient Circle Hints
How can I find out which mushroom to use?
of 9: You'll have to go to a less scientific source.
of 9: Some of the ancient legends around here seem to be coming true, so maybe there's something in them that'll help.
of 9: Remember that you can read about three of the legends in the "Myths & Legends of Barrow Hill" brochure that's on the postcard rack near the office door in the service station's entrance area.
of 9: However, it doesn't go into any detail about mushrooms.
of 9: But the brochure next to it does.
of 9: Read through "Pagan & Wiccan Magic" to see what it has to say.
of 9: In the last paragraph on the back side, it says that Dryad Slumber appears throughout autumn and is used by fairies to renew their magical powers.
of 9: That's a tad nutty-sounding, but Dryad Slumber is the mushroom you need.
of 9: NOTE: It's the red-capped mushroom with the white stem, and it lays on the cutting board just above the red berries.
