Can I ever get anything from the vending machine next to the motel?

  • 1 of 15: Yes, if you have the right change.
  • 2 of 15: Get up on the motel's front walkway over on its right side and then go all the way over to the vending machine.
  • 3 of 15: Click the Zoom In cursor on it, then look it over.
  • 4 of 15: There are a couple of coin slots over to the right of the buttons you press for a particular drink.
  • 5 of 15: So get yourself some coins.
  • 6 of 15: You can find some Pound Coins nearby.
  • 7 of 15: Unfortunately, they don't seem to work. Maybe you need some ounce coins.
  • 8 of 15: While not zoomed in on the vending machine, look at the paper with the big coin picture that's pasted to it just above the coin slots.
  • 9 of 15: It indicates that the machine takes pound coins and 50 pence coins, but the pound-coin part is marked out.
  • 10 of 15: That must mean the slot that takes pound coins is broken.
  • 11 of 15: So you'll have to get yourself some 50 Pence Coins.
  • 12 of 15: Click on the 50 pence coins in inventory while in the vending machine close-up to insert one.
  • 13 of 15: Then press the button over the picture for the drink you want.
  • 14 of 15: It's pretty clear what each one is from the picture, but you can try them all to see what you get -- you don't ever run out of coins. (Just remember to insert one before each drink choice.)
  • 15 of 15: NOTE: You can get the same kind of drink more than once, but it doesn't affect your inventory.
