Text Solution to the Column Puzzle
1 of 7: Refer to Jim's notebook. He should have copied four sets of runes there -- one from each crypt.
2 of 7: Remember that one of the sets was a mirror image and needs to be reversed.
3 of 7: Some of the runes are very similar. If you're copying them to a piece of paper, how you draw them is important.
4 of 7: While facing the altar, the left back column needs the runes from the Scribe's tomb.
5 of 7: The left front column takes the runes from the Herald's crypt (start with R).
6 of 7: Use Landrulph's runes for the right back column.
7 of 7: The right front column will accept the runes from the Sergeant at Arms tomb (start with O).
