Black Dahlia Hints

How can I leave the monk's chamber?

  • 1 of 17: As far as I know, the other door cannot be opened.  But there is another way out.
  • 2 of 17: Did you look closely at the crypt after you heard the monk's story?
  • 3 of 17: You'll hear the story after you find a way to open his crypt.
  • 4 of 17: The eyes are glowing red.
  • 5 of 17: Have you been down the stairs?
  • 6 of 17: As you're facing next to the sarcophagus, on the long side closer to the open doorway, turn to your left or right and go forward.  The stairs are there.
  • 7 of 17: The connection between the eyes, the rotating tiles, and the binoculars is important.
  • 8 of 17: Look into the binoculars.  The vision you see is red.  Light is coming through the eyes into the box below the crypt.
  • 9 of 17: Rotate one of the tiles.  They are three-sided with two sides solid and one side reflective.
  • 10 of 17: Did you notice the glass portal?
  • 11 of 17: It's on the corner of the sarcophagus just around the corner from the binoculars.
  • 12 of 17: The light must reflect from tile to tile so the view from the binoculars goes to the portal.
  • 13 of 17: Turn the two tiles under the monk's feet so their reflective sides face each other.
  • 14 of 17: On the wall containing the binoculars, turn that tile's reflective side toward the portal.
  • 15 of 17: Look through the binoculars.  What does it look like now?
  • 16 of 17: Find the tile with the red gem.
  • 17 of 17: The correct tile is directly opposite the portal.
