Black Dahlia Hints

What must I do with the cane?

  • 1 of 12: Where do I find the cane?
  • 2 of 12: More runes!  And you thought you had finished with them!
  • 3 of 12: Four runes from top to bottom should be dialed in.  It doesn't matter which way you view the cane while working with it.
  • 4 of 12: The only rune sets which contained four were from the tombs.
  • 5 of 12: The first runes of each set appear in sequence on the top dial.
  • 6 of 12: Eisenstadt appeared to be Landulph of the brotherhood.  Try his runes.
  • 7 of 12: Beginning with Landulph's set of runes, set the four rotating dials so his runes read from top to bottom.
  • 8 of 12: Look on either side of Landulph's first rune, the M, to see where the first runes from the remaining three sit in relation.
  • 9 of 12: There are several possible ways to spell Landulph's runes.  Also look for a way to spell another set along side it.
  • 10 of 12: The Scribe's first rune, the I, should sit to the left of the M.
  • 11 of 12: Underneath the I, the other three for the Scribe should follow.
  • 12 of 12: As you move the bottom dial to position the Scribe's last rune, the cane will open.
