Belief and Betrayal Hints
What else am I supposed to be doing at the cathedral?
1 of 10: Eventually you will need to get inside, but for now, focus your attention on the statue of the Virgin Mary at the far right side -- to continue the game's storyline you will need to investigate it thoroughly.
2 of 10: If you examine it closely you will notice there is engraved writing of some kind on it.
3 of 10: You need a way to see what that writing says.
4 of 10: It's possible to make rubbings of brass and such objects -- use a similar method here.
5 of 10: Similar, but far more nonsensical.
6 of 10: There is a can of tomato paste sitting confusingly on the step near the news-stand, across from the telephone box.
7 of 10: And, you will find a newspaper on the first bench on the overhead screen just beyond.
8 of 10: Hurl the can of tomato paste at the statue.
9 of 10: You can then use the newspaper to take a rubbing of the text.
