Beyond Time Hints
General Information
It's a good idea to watch the introductory video and listen carefully. There is a story line involved, although it is not terribly necessary to understand it in order to play (and complete) the game. In addition, two other sources of information are invaluable for assisting you in solving "Beyond Time":
1) The Strategic Clues Booklet that accompanies the CD-ROM
2) The online Help
The first gives extensive information about most portions of the game. In some cases, readers will not want to use this information, as it borders on being a "spoiler" at times. Some of the maps, however, are extremely helpful.
The second is available through the menu system built into "Beyond Time" at all times. Right-clicking at any time during the game brings up the menu options, one of which is "Help". While limited in scope, the Help is absolutely essential to solve some of the puzzles in the game.
Be patient. Explore. The game, although requiring a somewhat linear approach to achieve the full solution, can be played fairly openly for the first two-thirds or so, before that linearity is required.
