How do I kill Firkraag?
  • 1 of 9: Well, for you cheapos, the talk/hack strategy will work.  If you want the full challenge, attack it.
  • 2 of 9: Have one person go in with lots of HPs and fire resistance spells.  They will get knocked back and fried by the breath weapon.
  • 3 of 9: Then, have them and everyone else except people with less than about 75 HPs attack, fully hasted and protected.  The dragon may charm some, so keep a mage/priest with Dispel Magic handy.
  • 4 of 9: If you get really, really lucky, magic will work on the dragon, but it isn't a safe bet, he has really good magic resistance.
  • 5 of 9: Use the tried and true Breach-Haste-Beatdown strategy to nail the sucker.
  • 6 of 9: Another cheaper way to kill the dragon is to cast Monster Summoning 1, 2 or 3.
  • 7 of 9: Send the creatures at the dragon one at a time, he will use his breath weapons and his wing attack, and you're now free to go in and attack him! Yay!
  • 8 of 9: Take items off his corpse.  They include red dragon scales, and shield cloak.
  • 9 of 9: If you have a paladin in your group, you can actually use that Holy Avenger +5 on the dragon.  Nice, huh?
