How do I get into the sphere?
  • 1 of 4: After you talk to Tolgerias, go out to the Umar Hills.  The ranger quest is here, but that's another matter.
  • 2 of 4: Go to the very top of the map, and Valygar's cabin is vaguely left of the middle.  Go in and talk to him.
  • 3 of 4: DO NOT KILL HIM!  If you do, you get no cool items, and since you can't pick up his body, the Cowled Wizards get pissed at you instead of giving you money if you go back.  Let him join your group and then head to the Planar Sphere in the Slums.
  • 4 of 4: Apparently an ancestor of his, Lavok, controls it and Valygar's presence is the only thing that will let you in.  Go in.
