How do I find the Shadowmaster?
1 of 8: First, you need to pay Gaelan Bayle 15,000 gold, not the 20,000 he originally asked for.
2 of 8: He'll give you a key.
3 of 8: Go to the Thieves' Guild at the docks, and look for a secret door in the upper right.
4 of 8: Open it, and go down.
5 of 8: There's a bunch of cool stuff here -- it's a pretty funny area, with many low level thieves training and stuff.
6 of 8: To find the Shadowmaster, just open a secret door on the visible wall of the first room you enter and proceed down the LONG hallway until you get to Aran Linvail, the Shadowmaster.
7 of 8: Talk to him, and agree to help him with his tasks.
8 of 8: You'll get a VERY nice amulet for mages and priests, which speeds up casting time, grants magic resistance, casts permanent vocalize, and protects from negative plane (immune to level drain).
