What do I do with the portal?
1 of 6: There's really not much of a point to it.
2 of 6: You can find one of the stones you need by solving the statue puzzle.
3 of 6: Another can be found in room with a clay golem in the northern part of this area.
4 of 6: Another can be found in a room full of goblins.
5 of 6: You can bring these to open the portal and let out some really nasty monsters (a pit fiend and a greater wolf-were). You will, of course, get a bunch of XP for beating them.
6 of 6: ONE of the gems will bring forth a genie who will give you some plate mail +3.
