Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn Hints

The Kuo-Toan City

  • 1 of 12: You get into this place by finding a tough-to-see travel spot in the northwestern part of the main Underdark map, which is shrouded in darkness. It's a pretty simple place overall.
  • 2 of 12: Enter and make your way to the right.
  • 3 of 12: Just make note that the little spirals mean that there's something dangerous nearby.
  • 4 of 12: Some are pretty puny, but there's one to the north that leads to some beholders, which are a bit tougher.
  • 5 of 12: From the place with all the spirals go to the northeastern passage, and kill the big bunch of Kuo-Toans.
  • 6 of 12: Now search the pool to get some tainted tadpoles, to be used later.
  • 7 of 12: Go into the spiral-shape room.  If you want, you can go to the right and continue right at the fork, and you will eventually come to a room with a "Gorgon Statue" in it.
  • 8 of 12: Take the northern path, back at the fork.
  • 9 of 12: You'll run into some Kuo-Toans.  Kill them all, and continue up to a little circle room.
  • 10 of 12: Through the door on the right, you'll find the Kuo-Toan prince.  Kill him.
  • 11 of 12: If you want, you can use the tainted tadpoles on the pools to weaken the prince.
  • 12 of 12: Once you have his blood, go back to the Matron Ardulace.
