How do I free the slaves?
1 of 4: To the south of the main jailer room, is a "slave control room".
2 of 4: Use one of the small machines, and the slaves will all be freed, and they'll tell you how to make the mind control collars.
3 of 4: Now use the big machine till it stops working to get 4 of the lovely mind control collars.
4 of 4: Put them into your quick-item slot, and the next time you see an illithid, use a collar on it to control him, as you need him.
