How do I get past these umber hulks?
  • 1 of 7: Well, there are a couple ways.
  • 2 of 7: The less painful way is to kill the 4 dogs on the outside of the keep (in the drawbridge area) and take their meat inside to the stove on the first floor and get the dog stew.
  • 3 of 7: Once you have the stew, have a thief or invisible mage sneak by the umber hulks and go all the way down to the bottom door.  Open it, put the stew in the "container" that has dog bones in it already, and then run away to the other side of the cells.
  • 4 of 7: You can then go into the room that the umber hulks were in before.
  • 5 of 7: The other way is to just straight out fight them, although I don't really advise this.
  • 6 of 7: If you insist on fighting them, try using a Cloudkill spell in the room that they're in to kill them off.
  • 7 of 7: Or, if you have a higher-level party, just straight out fight them.
