How do I win the battle with Bodhi?

  • 1 of 15: When you enter the Graveyard District, you will encounter Bodhi.
  • 2 of 15: No matter what you say, she will retreat and leave some vampires for you to fight.
  • 3 of 15: Kill them, and enter the crypt through the northwestern entrance.
  • 4 of 15: Once inside, find your companions that you picked up.
  • 5 of 15: Drizzt's party is in the north-western room.  The thieves and priests are in the central room.
  • 6 of 15: The priests are very useful, because they can cast Negative Plane Protection and Restoration.
  • 7 of 15: Once the hundreds of vampires (well, it sure SEEMS like hundreds) are all dead, you can go down to the second level.
  • 8 of 15: On the second level, move slowly and allow Arkanis to detect and disarm the nasty traps along the hallway.
  • 9 of 15: If you have a romance, he/she will turn cyan and then disappear and be vampirized by Bodhi.
  • 10 of 15: Once you make it to the end, you will have your final encounter with Bodhi.
  • 11 of 15: The battle is amusingly easy if you have Drizzt, Arkanis, and Eric -- you could just sit back and watch them annihilate Bodhi if you wanted.
  • 12 of 15: Or you could cast Negative Plane Protection on your fighters and go in and annihilate her faster!
  • 13 of 15: The sunblade is useful here.  Casting Sunray has a pretty good chance of outright destroying the help she summoned, and if not, it will at least badly injure them and her.
  • 14 of 15: Once Bodhi is dead, bring a wooden stake to her crypt to the east to finish her for good and to get the item necessary to enter the elven city.
  • 15 of 15: You might also want to use the pools of blood in the central rooms if you still have some holy water left.
