The Third Tear: Selfishness
1 of 5: Go down the third stairway.
2 of 5: You will be stopped by a demon who tells you that you must choose between giving of yourself or losing a companion.
3 of 5: You have to "give of yourself" by taking the left passage if you want to keep your companion and get the tear, both of which you want.
4 of 5: Go down the passage to the left. Every door you open will take a little something away from you -- 2 Max HP, 1 DEX, etc.
5 of 5: Once you get through this way, you will get your companion back, and you will receive the tear.
