How do I get down to the next level?
1 of 16: You have to perform a ritual to open the portal down to the next level.
2 of 16: If you look around the level, you'll find various scraps of parchment outlining the ritual.
3 of 16: There are three pieces, which can be found around the level.
4 of 16: You must find three other items: a bell, a holy book, and a candle.
5 of 16: The bell is in a container near the top of the western side.
6 of 16: The holy book is on the altar in the center. You'll be attacked by statues when you take it, but they're easy.
7 of 16: The candle is in a chest next to the furnaces.
8 of 16: Once you have the three items, place them all on the altar where you found the book.
9 of 16: Perform the ritual as it tells you on the scraps of parchment.
10 of 16: If you're having trouble, perform the ritual in this order:
11 of 16: Ring the bell.
12 of 16: Ring the bell.
13 of 16: Light the candle.
14 of 16: Open the book. If you dealt with the priest, you will read the appropriate passage. If not, you will have to start again.
